Starting a consultation over email
You can start a consultation over email to consult with a veterinary specialist over email about one of your patients. When scheduling a consultation, include as much information as possible to get the best advice from your consultant. Follow these steps to start an email consultation.

Choose Consultations from the side menu.

Choose the specialty for the consultation.

Choose Email Response.

Click Let's Go.

Fill out the consultation form as desired. Fields marked with a * are required.

You can search for a patient to bring up patient information by typing in a minimum of 3 characters in the Search field, then clicking on the patient's name, If owner information is missing for the patient, click Edit Patient, add or update owner or patient information, then click Save.

For new patients, click Create a new patient to enter patient information, then click Add/Update.

Click in the dotted circle to attach documents.

Browse to select a document, then click Open. You can click
to view your document or
to delete it.

Click Request Email Consultation to schedule the appointment.

Click OK.

Check your email for "Zoetis Consultation - Email Response" for a confirmation of your email consultation. If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk email folder.

The earliest available consultant will respond via email.
