Adding and editing users

Before adding a user to your clinic or practice in ZoetisDx, make sure you understand the user roles and permissions available. Once you add a user, you can edit users.

Note: Each ZoetisDx user at your clinic should have their own login.

User roles and permissions

Use this table when adding a user or editing a user's role to choose the correct role for the user. Note that all the Zoetis Reference Laboratories (ZRL) Directory of Services (DoS) price-enabled roles are at the bottom of the list of roles when selecting a role.

Role Users with this role can...
All Roles
  • see results

  • place ZRL orders

All ZRL DoS price-enabled user roles
  • see results and place ZRL orders, plus
  • see ZRL DoS prices

Doctor
  • see results and place ZRL orders, plus

  • link a Doctor ID in their profile

Administrator
  • see results, place ZRL orders, see ZRL DoS prices, link a Doctor ID in their profile, plus

  • access and edit all clinic information

  • link a ZRL account and FUSE or HUB devices

  • access all user information

  • invite or inactivate users

Adding a user

Follow these steps to add a user.

  1. Choose Users from the side menu.

  2. Click Add User.

  3. Enter user information, including a Role and Email. Fields marked with a * are required.

    • If you want to add multiple users at the same time, click Add Multiple Users, then click Add Row until you have enough rows for each new user. Enter a Role and Email for each new user.

  4. Click Send Invite or Close to exit without sending.

  5. Click OK.

  6. The new user will need to set a password and log in.

Editing a user

Follow these steps to edit an existing user's information.

  1. Choose Users from the side menu.

  2. Click Pencil icon to the right of the user you want to edit.
